Lionel Ogden, a Stanford student, was competing in the Intercollegiate Championship — not famous, just one among many. Then a photographer clicked the shutter. The frame captured calm focus, an elegant return, silent confidence. The image was archived and nearly forgotten.

Decades later, we discovered and acquired the photograph, which has since become a symbol of Carlstone and now resides in our small museum. Not loud, but lasting.
